Boys and girls aged 6 to 11 (or between Kindergarten and 5th grade) are all welcome to join the pack at any time!

Registering with Pack 73 is an easy 3-step process.

Register with Scouting America and pay the annual membership fee.
For the 2025-2026 scouting season, this is $135, which covers both national and district fees.
New scouts: Pay when you register at the Scouting America website
Existing scouts: Pay by logging in to your my.scouting.org account

Pay the Pack 73 dues.
For the 2025-2026 scouting season, this is $90, which covers common pack expenses (see below for examples).
All scouts: Pay through our payments page.

Keep updated through our Band.
Make sure you sign up for an account through the pack's Band system to keep updated with news and events.

What is the annual BSA membership fee used for?
The annual BSA membership fee is split between the national BSA organization and our local council and district. These fees fund things like:
National program organization
Training courses
Insurance
Patriots' Path Council also provides a breakdown of the 2024-2025 fees.
What are pack dues used for?
What are pack dues used for?
Some examples of how the Pack money is utilized:
Pinewood Derby kits, trophies, and upgrades to the track
Pack t-shirt, rank awards, etc.
Subsidizing pack events & prizes (i.e. fishing, campfire, camping)
Maintenance and repair of pack materials (i.e. camping equipment)
