2023-2024 Calendar

We have an exciting year in store for our scouts. Here are the current pack events we have planned:

All dates are tentative and subject to change.

• Sep 8 @ 2pm - Water balloon toss & recruiting day!
  We'll be tossing water balloons and talking about the upcoming scouting year.

• Sep 9 @ 6pm - Information Session
  If you couldn't make the water balloon toss or didn't want to get wet, stop by Chisholm and learn all about scouting.

• Sep 20 @ 6:30pm - Campfire & S'mores
  Come join us for a campfire and some s'mores! Open to all who are interested in scouting!

• Oct 4-5 - Fall camping
  We'll be camping on Friday night, and Saturday will be full of fun activities such as hiking, a Nature Center tour, and more!

• Oct 6 @ 11am - Springfield Fall Fest & Car Show
  We'll have a booth at the car show, giving away popcorn! Come try your hand at the Raingutter Regatta!
  
  

• Nov 10 @ 2pm - Pack hike
  The entire pack will go out for a hike.

• Dec 16 @ 6:30pm - Holiday Lights at Turtle Back Zoo
  The pack will make our yearly night-time visit to Turtle Back Zoo to view the zoo at night and see the holiday lights. We request you also bring a donation of either canned food or a lightly used winter coat.
  
  

• Feb 9 @ 12:30pm - Ice Skating
  The pack will get on the ice.

• Mar 1 @ 1:30pm - Pinewood Derby
  Carve your wooden block into a racer and bring it to race your fellow scouts down the track! Pizza will be provided, and fun is mandatory!
  
  

• Apr 27 @ 5pm - Blue & Gold Banquet
  To celebrate the anniversary of the founding of BSA, we'll hold our annual banquet dinner.
  
  

• May 17-18 or May 31-Jun 1 - Spring camping
  We'll have a spring family campout full of fun activities and getting off our screens!

• May 18 - Flags for Soldiers Graves
  In preparation for Memorial Day, we'll be placing new American Flags on the graves of soldiers

• April / May TBD - Fishing
  Grab your poles and learn to fish!
  
  

• Jun 13 - End of year BBQ
  We'll celebrate a great year of scouting with a BBQ, S'Mores and fun activities.
